Bursalah District

Population of Bursalah is 20,000 but used to be a few hundreds when Bursalah school first opened. Read Horn of Africa provides informal education for many villages located around Bursalah district such as: Ina huran, Lan madow, Rig Omane, Duddun. We help with those villages with textbooks, desks, allowances given to teachers and also help with Ina Huran village to build local mosque. Land madow village was helped to build two classrooms and school equipment. We organise sessions for Rig Omane's teachers to enhance their teaching methods. We provided them with school equipment.
